The appellation Saint-Amour comprises 280 hectares, the soil is mainly clay-silious in nature and the grape variety used is The Gamay.

The most northern appellation of the Beaujolais Crus, the Saint-Amour is considered fine and delicate. This is especially the case for this beautiful wine from a parcel selection of the Bel Avenir estate.
The 2018 vintage also brings a beautiful opening to the nose, an intense garnet colour and a very nice balance of flavours.

The Saint-Amour is the most northerly of the ten Beaujolais crus. It is produced in the department of Saône-et-Loire, in the limit with that of the Rhone.
The production area is located in the heart of Saint-Amour-Bellevue, located geographically very close to Burgundy.
