Perched on the high hillsides of the Vergisson rock, this place called "LaMaréchaude" proposed here in Magnum of 1.5l is a unique terroir that asserts itself by its high altitude and especially by a soil formed of white stones extremely limestone.
Considered one of the best plots of Pouilly-Fuissé,it allows to give concentration, color and material while allowing the wine to keep nervous. This is particularly the case here with old vines more than 50 years old.
Winemaking andoak barreling are examples of rigour, precision and patience, to bring material and aromatic supplements without distorting the wine. The ageing lasts 12 months with 15% of new barrels.
This Pouilly Fuissé is a wine of character, very pure, fine and with a very beautiful minerality. It will express on the nose a complex bouquet of fruits: fresh lemon, exotic fruits, peaches... In the mouth a frank attack that quickly gives way to a beautiful roundness and above all an incredible aromatic concentration. The finish is supple and elegant, the length in the mouth remarkable.
