Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2008 - Domaine Henri Guénard & Fils
Produced in the town of Gevrey-Chambertin, this red grand cru is one of the most famous and noble wines of Burgundy. Simply one of the best red wines that can exist!
This Grand Cru Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2008 offers a relatively dark color that ranges from magenta to purple purple.
The aromas are of a finesse and complexity specific to the great red wines of the Côte de Nuits: floral notes (violet, pink) as well as red fruits. By gaining in maturity, this wine now offers on the nose of spices, an animal side and undergrowth, to evolve further towards leather or mushroom.
A wine with a supple attack, very ample and dense on the palate, with generous persistence.
Like most Of The Grands Crus of Burgundy, it will benefit from being opened after a few years of ageing, even if the incredible 2008 vintage makes it possible to provide very good surprises sometimes in advance.
